The project began with a detailed analysis of the shop layout, identifying the key areas that required optimal lighting. These areas included product displays, fitting room areas and main entrances. Using this information, we designed a lighting plan incorporating a combination of square decorative structures, suspended linear luminaires with three-dimensional aluminium optics, and track-mounted floodlights. This mix not only ensures adequate lighting throughout the space, but also provides a design element that enhances the aesthetics of the shop.

One of the highlights of this project was the use of suspended linear luminaires with three-dimensional aluminium optics. These luminaires not only provide efficient and glare-free lighting, but also add a modern and elegant touch to the shop's interior design. Combined with the decorative structures in square format, these lighting solutions create a warm and welcoming ambience, inviting customers to explore the shop and enjoy a comfortable shopping experience.

The use of track spotlights allowed for additional flexibility in lighting, which was key to highlighting specific areas within the shop, such as new product launches or special promotions. The projectors were carefully selected and positioned to ensure that every corner of the shop was well lit, with no unwanted shadows, improving product visibility and ultimately boosting sales.

To maximise energy efficiency and reduce operating costs, a combination of LED lighting was chosen for most of the project. LED luminaires are not only highly efficient, but also offer greater durability and require less maintenance, which is crucial for a retail space that is in operation for long hours each day.

The end result is a lighting design that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, perfectly complementing the C&A brand. This lighting system not only enhances the beauty of the shop, but also creates a welcoming atmosphere that will enhance each customer's shopping experience.
